It won’t die,
But it won’t live.
So much potential,
Unable to give.
Life is such a struggle,
To attain our goals.
We ignore many lighthouses
Wind up on shoals.
To live up to promise,
Is oft hard to do.
We exist with decisions,
We often survive to rue.
Ask the right question,
To set your foot aright.
Answers provide security,
And fill our world with light.
Great scholars found a need,
To bow amid external demands.
Great truths were knowledge forbidden,
Positions feared to stand.
Faith can never hide,
Behind ignorance or fear.
We must embrace all truth,
If his words we are to hear.
